About your Therapist...
Sierra is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she developed a creative blend of Eastern and Western therapeutic modalities used to achieve superior results.
She addresses numerous physical disorders by integrating Swedish massage, Orthopedic Sports massage, Myofascial release, Thai massage, Tuina, and Korean KyoJung to best suit the needs of her clients, and to bring about dramatic and lasting changes in the body and mind.
Sierra's training as a dancer and gymnast has helped her develop a powerful intuitive touch, fluid body flow, as well as the ability to quickly identify movement patterns and to pinpoint postural and muscular issues. This includes treatment of stress and other emotions that are held in the connective tissues and that impact posture and presence.
Above all, Sierra brings heartfelt precision to her massage, elevating her techniques to a healing art.
Outside of practice, Sierra holds a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance with a Theatre minor from the University of Montevallo, and works professionally as an actor/singer. Her experience as a singer and her passion for the voice have enabled her to specialize in Laryngeal Therapy/Laryngeal Manipulation for vocal health. Sierra is Certified in Laryngeal Manipulation by Dr. Jacob Lieberman, world famous Osteopath and Psychotherapist, and now works with professional voice users as well as those suffering from voice disorders and TMJ Dysfunction. Sierra is beyond thrilled to be able to combine her love of manual therapy with her love of the voice in practicing Laryngeal Therapy.

Your safety is my highest priority.
Requirements for your appointment:
48 hours before your appointment you will receive an email to complete a brief pre-screening by 24 hours before your appointment. This will include reporting on any symptoms of respiratory infection or illness, as well as any close contact you have had with anyone exhibiting these symptoms. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory infection (fever, cough, loss of smell/taste, body aches, chills, shortness of breath, fatigue) you are required to cancel your appointment.
Everyone is required to wear a mask to their appointment (Please bring your own mask).
You will be asked to wash your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving. I have implemented touchless dispensers for both soap and sanitizer.
It is recommended that you bring your own water bottle to your appointment as an additional safety precaution.
Other Safety Measures:
I will be wearing a mask, and medical scrubs.
I will be thoroughly washing my hands and arms before and after each treatment. I have gloves available and will wear them upon request of the patient.
The bathroom and treatment room will be fully disinfected between each appointment. (More time will be scheduled between appointments to allow for this important measure). This includes the treatment table, face cradle and bolster, side table and counter top (which have been cleared of excess objects to make cleaning easier), oil bottle,, all door knobs (cabinet, closet, bathroom, main entrance), all light switches, sink, toilet, and phone screen. If cups were used for the session the cups are immediately washed in soap and water and then dried and wiped in isopropyl alcohol.
The floor is mopped with hospital grade disinfecting solution several times a day.
Each patient gets their own pillowcase draped in the face cradle which is washed with the rest of the linens as an extra safety precaution.
I am also implementing a new air purification protocol daily.
